Bus on Railway Track

A bus at the Epping bus terminal came to grief on the Epping Station track after reversing on its own through the fencing on the road above.

The next train was about to depart Cheltenham, the next station up the line and due to arrive in a few minutes but was stopped in time. Yvonne was on the train and had to travel to Straithfield via Hornsby instead, a journey that took at least 45 minutes longer. Fortunately no one was injured.

New Epping Station

The Epping Station is being done up to serve the new underground platform. The concourse is ready. Epping station now has a modern, open concourse and, like a proper station, has escalators!
