Spring in Cheltenham!

Roses are red . . . .

Violets are blue . . . . (well, these are more like purple)

Bougainvilleas are out,

Magnolias are spectacular,

And many others too.

Rafters being repaired

Who's bright idea was it to design such protruding rafter ends? Original definitely, but do they look good? Problem is, the exposed ends are exposed to the weather and they rot! Next problem is finding a tradesman who is willing to fix them. After a two year search, we have finally found one !

And they are being fixed!

Kay's Off to Singapore and Hong Kong

Kay and work colleague Dale flew off to Singapore and Hong Kong this morning. Everyone is feeling sorry for me I've been inundated with dinner invitations - so I'm not feeling too badly off. Kay will have two weekends in Singapore seeing Yvonne and several days in Hong Kong during the week.
